Brainscape applies a modified version of spaced repetition that we call Confidence-Based Repetition. As students study, they rate how well they knew each card on a scale of 1-5, and Brainscape determines the optimal interval of time before showing each card again. This method has been shown to dramatically improve learning and retention.
